Itsuno just left Capcom after directing DMC3, DMC4, DMC5, Dragons Dogma and Dragon's Sogma 2 However, there are leaks and multiple sources in Japanese twitter and 2ch that say he's joining Square Enix alongside his DMC5 combat partner to make Final Fantasy 17. DMC5's spirit lives on.
