Great jam 🎉 How do ya like the syntakt ? Did you have other elektron gear how does it compare to digitakt or digitone if ya ever had them ?
@glennclyatt5455Күн бұрын
Thanks SonicVibe! Syntakt is great I had a Model:Cycles before and love the Elektron sequencer This takes pretty much everything i liked about it and puts it into an even better performance platform with more machine types
@SonicVibeКүн бұрын
@ kinda what i was thinking 🤔 ty
@SonicVibeКүн бұрын
@ did they still kept the temporary save state where you can temp save mangle and revert back to pattern I love that performance feature on the model series and when you say more performance options, is it like with P locks and stuff of that nature or why do you feel it’s more performance based out of curiosity, I know why more machines would make sense, but I just wondered in a performance situation the advantages in a live set up
@glennclyatt545522 сағат бұрын
The temp state is still there, but requires more steps and a bit more planning 😐 That was one of my favorite features on cycles. Knowing I can do whatever with a parameter, but immediately jump to previous state. I have plans to try this more on Syntakt. The other thing I miss is being able to assign the retrig to the pressure sensitive pad, so that you bring rolls in with velocity. The upside is the new performance retrigs can be set at 4 time divisions of your choosing. The euclidean sequenceer is also an interesting performance tool. The extra LFOs are nice as well as the individual filters. The overall device weight and clicky buttons inspire more confidence when jamming too 😅 I still need to dig in to everything on this and will have a better idea in a few months
@SonicVibe22 сағат бұрын
@@glennclyatt5455 euclidean sequence are extra LFO’s and filters I forgot about this makes sense but yes I do love that feature and forgot not all have the retrigger pressure sensitivity

Microgranny is one of my favourite samplers, I love mine and use it quite often. That Kastle 2 is a simply awesome effect, I particularly like the panning,thanks for demonstrating the combo!! I will have to get a Kastle 2 myself someday and make my own experiments.

@glennclyatt54557 күн бұрын
Thanks Hell! I had fun working on this one using, some patterns with 1/2 clock division. The 8bit sounds come from the new SY CHIP analog machine in v1.30 FW. Inspired by the original Elektron SID station. I'm hitting the MicroGranny with a UV light. It ends up turning that case into another light source 😂
