It's been like 4 years since I saw Daisy Brown, but if I remember correctly, Daisy eventually learns that Alan and the rest of the monsters were made by her father kidnapping and dismembering a coworker of his. I think it's implied that the monsters are made out of those human parts. Thanks for the comment!
