Thank you for the instruction...if I might suggest something. Using the same color makes this video a little confusing visually. Might I suggest using three different colors of paracord. Not only will the end result be visually more appealing, but it will also help visually being able to tell which of the cords you are currently weaving.

Do you think this stitch would work with a cowboy belt?
@Paracordguy
@Paracordguy 5 жыл бұрын
Misty C. That’s a tough call! I’ve never really looked at the way a cowboy belt buckle attaches to a belt. This style is designed for a roller buckle, that much I know for sure. It needs to have the keeper go through the entire belt. Perhaps you could weave in grommet holes that will help keep the buckle in place? Wish I could be more helpful, thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!

Ok so I worked the other problem out on my own. Unfortunately, I have a new one:) The beauty stitch just seems to appear on your belt and mine is just flat on the front. Do you know what I'm wrong?
@Paracordguy
@Paracordguy 5 жыл бұрын
I would guess you wove it the opposite way than this. It's an easy thing to do, most folks weave them like that anyway. Try it again if you like, it will work fine as a belt either way. Congrats and thanks for watching!

Hey Paracord Guy I am roughly 11 minutes into your video and doing great. However, I have only one spot at the beginning of my belt where the two strands are connected and your belt seems to be staying together just fine. Am I missing something or will the two weaves be tied together more along the way?

I used this tutorial to make a dog collar!! Thank you so much :) heres how I did it: I measured my dog’s neck (17”), and did 1/2 a foot, for every inch of the finished product. So my long strings ended up being 25’. I made my short strings 4’ and it worked out fine. :)

No disrespect indended or anything, just another way to start at the buckle, a slipknot (in case of smaller lenghts of rope) instead of needing a 40 foot length of rope you can use two 20 foot pieces. And an added bonus of 6 different colo(u)rs, i made one like this for a gay friend was only 1 color short and thanks to your video ofcourse
