Folks in the comment section probably won’t like me saying this, but I enjoyed the trailer you made even more than the film. I don’t know how to explain why, but it made me tear up…it just felt overwhelming emotionally. Masterful editing and lovely music paired with it - thank you for this.

I know I am late for the party but.. Alex Danvers confesing to Maggie Sawyer? In XWP video?? I definitely didn´t see that comming :D. But Alex is right. We should kiss the girl we want to kiss and Xena is following that rule to the T :-).

Nice try, but without having the iconic theme song in the background, it simply wouldn't work.

Farrah was correct! Those girls only made $5k per episode. Kate made $10k. When Farrah came back to show she got guest star billing AND was paid $150k per episode. Way more than the other girls and way more than she would have made in that time period had she stayed. Smart girl

I always thought of Carmilla as more of a tragic heroine (a lost soul so to speak) rather than a villain or a monster really, and Ingrid Pitt -God rest her soul, played all the cards just right in this classic.

@youngmensdailywisdom99 It's quite the same way as Dracula would also be (note that "Carmilla" actually predated Bram Stoker's novel). My outlook on this is that at some point in her life, Carmilla was in fact a good hearted lady in nature whom was hopeful about her future, at least she was before obviously something terrible happened that ultimately led her to become what she became. At least that's just my observation.

In this film alone, 23% of the main characters sold-out their birth names to 'Hollywood'. It was most likely done as the result of pressure from greedy & deceitful agents, managers, and studios. Most likely the idea came from anticipated or perceived greater recognition & monetary gain? Other than when a woman gets married, there's absolutely no logical reason for anyone to disgrace & disrespect their parents by changing their name. Here are some examples that starred in Stage Coach 1939:So-called "Claire Trevor" was born Claire Wemlinger..So-called "John Wayne" was born Marion Robert Morrison. So called "Helen Gibson" was born Rose August Wenger. So called "Chris-Pin Martin" was born Ysabel Poinciana Chris-Pin Martin Paiz (too lengthy & unnecessary hyphen, especially for a man). So-called "Chief John Big Tree" was born Isaac Johnny John. So-called "Buddy Roosevelt" was born Kenneth Stanhope Sanderson. So-called "Steve Clemente" was born Esteban Clemento Morro. So-called "Franklyn Farmum" was born William Smith. So-called "Harry Tenbrook" was born by Olaf Hansen. So-called "Florence Lake" was born Florence Silverlake. So-called "Si Jenks" was born Howard Hansell Jenkins. So-called "Joe Rickson" was born Oscar Erickson. So-called "Francis Ford" was born Frances Joseph Feeney. So-called"Bill Cody" was born Pall Valtyr Palsson. So called "Dorothy Vernon" was born Dorothea Christine Arens.

Orson Welles watched this film religiously prior to making Citizen Kane. “I prefer the old masters, by which I mean John Ford, John Ford and John Ford… He's a poet and a comedian. With Ford at his best you get a sense of what the earth is made of.” - Orson Welles

I honestly love the portrayal of the new Mrs. De Winter in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, for he captures her naivety, innocence, and unintelligence about the outside world. And Laurence Olivier, that man gives you the gothic gentlemanly vibes of how Max de Winter is supposed to be ❤️
