For me, mine was in a way dangerous. I was in a queer relationship with a closeted girl and neither of us could vent out our frustrations or talk about our relationship to anyone else, because it could jeopardize her safety. I’m not saying that it was a good relationship that was ruined by her not telling people we are queer, in fact it felt very unhealthy for both of us. But the big thing about arranged Indian marriages is that in desi culture divorce is seen as such a negative thing, so lots of people will not get out of relationships even if they are unhealthy. I’m saying this as a first gen Indian person who is also the result of an arranged marriage. I do agree with you that if done right arranged marriages can be healthy
