I love Paul's voice in this song. This song has grown on me. I loved Paul in King too. I wonder if he has continued singing in public since the 80s in small venues at all. I am aware he went over to MTV and did presenting. I wonder if he still has that great voice.

I am guessing this is early 2000's by the look of the band that is partially what Queen used with Paul Rodgers from 2005 and on

Excellent band! This was just one month after I saw them supporting Culture Club at Wembley Arena. King had the potential to go on for many years to come. It is a real shame that they split after two great, and very successful albums. They were such a unique band with fantastic music, and they were amazing to experience live. Paul King was a fabulous front man. Really great memories of a really great decade in music.

I’m thankful to be among the privileged few to know these hidden gem type bands from the 80’s. ❤ And as for Myself is sooooo underrated 💕👌

Paul King is criminally underrated.....easily stands toe to toe with Le Bon, Hadley and Fry in terms of vocal talent and style...a giant

This was only 1 year after splitting with the band!!! It is truly a let down and so was the album. I bet the rest of the band were pleased with his demise

I don’t think they were underrated at all when they were popular. I just get the impression they all wanted different things / direction mixed with poor management. Paul Never set the charts alight with his solo album but with the right songs he could have been huge. I think the keyboard player in king ( not this video ) is the talent.

They would have probably lasted longer if the albums had been separated by more than a year! They are so overlooked. The singles weren’t really a true representation of the band and what it was capable of. I love bands like the cure, souxsie, madness but a lot of their albums were full of filler and 3 obvious singles where as King albums were playable all the way through

You had to be born in the 60's and dragged up in the 70's then woken in the 80's to get where this comes from. I still have my white leather 18 hole dr. Martens from Scorpio in Newcastle plus 3 pairs of 10 holers in the garage with orange spray paint on

I remember Paul king in his pervious band the stereotypes and were on the bill with the Specials in Coventry at the Butts in June 1981. Loved King as well .both the The Specials and King were brilliant bands from the same town. Different styles but still wearing those Dr Martins lol and loved the suits.
