Unplug and plug it back in or try restarting your computer. I had the same issue as well at some point and that worked for me.

Fixed! Use USB C to USB 2. At first I used USB C to USB 3 on my desktop PC but that did not work. Tried different ports and when I pluged it in USB 2 worked like a charm :)

Please pin: Anyone that is still having the issue with updating your firmware or anything like that MAKE SURE your cable you're using is connected to a CPU USB port, meaning the ones above your audio jack in the back of your PC and if not, try changing the cable like my guy said.
