For me its mostly just memorising their tells since I've had to grind those two to upgrade the characters I was using this time. I'm awful at fighting any enemy that has the parry counter circle things appearing when they attack

It's impressive on both sides:Laharl survived a fight with arguably one of the strongest things in the Disgaea universe. On the real Zenon's side she defeated Laharl even after reincarnation took most of her power and Laharl by this point killed Baal at least once 😮

Props worth mentioning is that Laharl is prepped to the nines while zenon is fighting with nothing but base stats.

I guess you got hit by their spinning daggers during his jump animation and it instead put him into a falling state.

Yeah seems pretty interesting so far, the controls take getting used to though. Attacks and swinging the net are done by using the analogue stick instead of just being the face buttons

this stage is crap. i never use generic characters so i have to go make and train some dudes literally just for this one stage.
