That god damn zooming/free-scrolling bitmap/whatever. And then on top of it some 3d-rotating sprites. Just to show how many cycles they got. Insane.

some of these tricks seem impossible with the VIC-II, yet... And music from 8:55 is really epic

Some brilliant effects from this old hidden gem, how did I missed this?

we take 3d for granted nowadays but when you realize 3d wasn't a real thing until the late 90's it becomes really impresive that a cheap system from the early 80's can do such things, let alone have such color depth and the resolution seems to be quite good as well. i wasn't even aware there was a demo scene for old systems. that was fucking sick, great work fairlight.

That squelchy sound at the beginning was amazing. All these demos show what advanced stuff the old c64 was capable of all this time, and what a modern creativity on legacy hardware can do.
