Its way easier than u think. I always run hot wire and RCAs down the pass side. Much easier plus u can use the original Antenna wire hole thru the firewall to run the hotwire thru with it. And not risk running into other crap wires that get in the way. Ive never used the drivers side for anything

I just installed same unit to 2018 rav4. Did not have to cut or play with any cables at all. Everything was plug and play. Car camera works, steering whell controls works.Everything works. Only little issue was the putting long part back after intalling the unit.

I have a 04 Chevy Tahoe that doesn’t have the Bose system in it or a factory amp but when I attempted to run a 4-channel amp I was getting no sound from any of my speakers. Any tips or suggestions? The amp powered on and everything just no sound.

I have an Infinity front door speaker that does not work, and the rest of the speakers work. I tried changing the speakers, but when they work, the sound is very weak.

Also why are you running the remote wire straight to the battery? It needs a fused connection so it goes off with the key

I always drill holes in things I can't even name, lmao.. seriously tho you can put the wire thru a factory wire access that will already be in your firewall somewhere.

line output converters are known for bad audio quality, use an amp that has high level inputs and then you don’t need a LOC. your door speaker wire then would go directly to the amp input
