Awesome looking fly! i think this would work on some of the tarpon and big snook down in Florida. What wt. rod/reel do you usually use this with?

Hey Norm, Nice fly and I hear very good things about this one in particular. I am going to tie some tonight for a shop in Tampa and let them use the fly on Tampa Bay. Great tying and very good explanation on how and why you use only a few colors. Ron C Ruskin FL

Thanks for creating your custom products and colors. I tie mostly big pike muskies and walleye streamers. I only have to buy resin and thread, the rest of materials I buy from you. Thank you.

Just wandering.. now that you have ( at least) 2 dubbing spinners, would it be better to have them at both enda and wind ( opposide ofcourse ) the brush with even tension from each end??

Caught a lot of big fish with this exact pattern. Super easy to tie. Thanks!

Thanks for this. I tied a couple with your water silk and some flashabou but I'm gonna order some crystal web in a couple days and some frog dubbing and eyes to make some of those cool too water frogs of yours. And possibly some of your very reasonable hooks.

Thank you for this link. I got this dubbing from you. I didn't know if I would get in trouble for showing the product name? I have found a few bugs I use it for. The rubber legs get in the way. But now I see why they're in there? Great material for baitfish, or frogs like you just beautifully done.

First off I would like to say I LOVE your products! It has made it way more affordable to get into fly tying and have fun making lures. However I have a question. I have seen a product in a lot of fly tying videos that I really like called Lazer dubbing from hareline. What would be the FTD alternative to Lazer dub, or what combination of products do I need to buy to make it?
@flytyersdungeon-madscienti42674 жыл бұрын
the two dubbings are Big Game Dubbing CLYDE and Big Game Dubbing AW. These two are long fiber dubbings for streamers. Thanks

What is the exact product and color you used to the wrap the fly.
@flytyersdungeon-madscienti42674 жыл бұрын
The fly is wrapped by making a dubbing brush out of Crystal Web in Dun color and adding Northern Lights in Olive Green/Olive color for the black fly. The white one is a white Gator Tail and making a dubbing brush out of white and/or pink Crystal Web and Northern Lights in Silver/White. Thanks....I sell the dubbing brushes and Gator Tails

More please! It would be great if you could open one of each dubbing so we can get an idea of fiber lenght and texture. Some "how it's made" videos would be amazing! Someday I'll break down and buy one of everything of yours. Do you have a recipe or tutorial for that yellow big bopper jointed streamer?
