Amazing it’s a hipster talking about another hipster opening a Diagram as to how to be a hipster inside an album cover that is vinyl which is about the most hipster thing ever. Next I’m sure comes the argument over who heard this album first

Every instrument is heard from the vinyl. Marvelous.

When it hits me that she's gone I think I'll run for president Get my face put on the million dollar bill So when these rich men that she wants Show her ways they can take care of her I'll have found a way to be there with her still When it hits me that she's gone I think I'll be an astronaut Make the moon my home and leave the earth behind So when she steps out into the night And finds the light that makes her prettiest She'll be facing me every time she shines When it hits me that she's left me alone When I finally move on with my life Her goodbye written into stone And her shadow grown into a night When it hits me that she's gone I think I'll be a movie star Play the finest men the world has ever seen So when these lovers that she's found Show her ways they learned to talk to her Behind each perfect word there'll be a little bit of me

What's so interesting to me about this one is it's a completely different take of the song than what was originally released on the physical 'Love Is Hell, Pt. 02' European release as a bonus track, the 'This Is It' single and even the Japanese pressing of 'Love Is Hell' with the bonus disc. I guess RA made some last minute changes to the LIH masters when they originally issued the album, seeing as the solo from "The Shadowlands" is different as well.

These are stunning albums. Anyone who thinks they know Johnny Cash through Walk The Line and Ring Of Fire really need to hear these!, I have them all on CD, but through watching some of these KZbin videos, I’m just about to pick them up on vinyl, they look amazing, Thanks for the video

Damn this is unbelievable! with as long as I've searched for any band or solo project Conor is featured in or even any Artists he promotes (never heard this genius piece of love and heartache) THIS MADE MY DAY. The Breakman has turned my way : ) people like you are the unsung heroes of a dying Music Industry.

This is a cover, originally by Dawes if anyone couldn't tell. Conor didn't write this.

What Tracks are of his on this EP?
@burnsfactor6 жыл бұрын
Shayden Fakhimi I thought it was originally by Middle Brother. Is that wrong?
@seanmcclain22476 жыл бұрын
It was written by Taylor Goldsmith who is apart of Dawes and Middle Brother, both.

Good stuff. I heard of Molina's work through Jim James (MMJ) and so so glad. Have been buying whatever i find of his work. Thanks for this review of the Hansard LP. I just heard of it's existence recently. Will be looking into that too and will subscribe here. Keep talking keep listening keep telling.

Nice comments, and I agree with you on most points. I did love the songs from Stories Don't End, even though it's probably number 4 if I had to rank their albums. They are absolutely my favorite band. Liked your mention of Record Archives - I'm a Rochesterian as well.

Got the vinyl myself. Beautiful folk record. I still think "Several Shades of Why" is my favorite of the two, but that doesn't devalue this one at all! "Me Again" is quite possibly the best track on this thing.
@Rubberfooted9 жыл бұрын
I know that if you get the standard version of the vinyl for this record it isn't blue and doesn't have the light up cover, but do you know if it does include the postcard? There is also a limited edition white vinyl version and I'm not sure if that one has the postcard either.
