some brief info in 1927, an AM long-wave transmitter was established for the State Radio Broadcasting Company in the new Kalundborg Radiophonic Station on the Gisseløre isthmus near Kalundborg. The transmission frequency was 260 kHz with a nominal transmission power of 7.5 kW. The antenna consisted of two 105 m high three-legged steel masts connected by a single antenna wire, and was built by Nakskov Shipyard. In 1954, the masts were extended to 118 m and provided with 23 m wide cross booms that carried eight top wires for a so-called Alexanderson antenna. From 15 November 1982, the transmission power was increased to 300 kW and the frequency changed to 243 kHz. from June 16, 2011, with a power of 50 kW a Canadian-produced transmitter from Nautel. 31-12-2023 closed down forever thanks for video 🦊

Great reception its even better then I have here in Slovenia :) I have a question, back when I was hunting for UA 1, it was mixing with RAI 1 on 657khz Here is the recording: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXbLlHyEjrZ1iaM They played some loop recording on RAI, that I never realy understood what it meant, I recorded this by accident (never published it for some reason) I also heared the same message on TV once: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6WqgaxveLlreq8 A lot of times they played that loop on RAI MW, I always feared that this is tealing me they will shutdown (how ironic, they never told this to anyone :( (I mean at least not a lot of times) Also do you maybe know what was the diference between normal RAI (on 936,657,900,1062) and RAI(FM) (it was labeled RAI(FM) onwlist and it was on 999khz (I could recieve it but never knew the diference)

Hey hello again! Let's reply to your questions in a scattered way: The loop announcements you have hear (the one you have linked) were part of prime time TV services provided via MW radio to blind people. Specifically the broadcast you have received was a general announcements regarding schedules, info, audio settings ecc... It was always aired during commercial breaks on TV. I also did an extensive recording regarding those looped messages, you can find them here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rni7oImYhb6ta6c No, unfortunately Rai didn't used that space to announce the general shutdown of their MW network. But they curiously (and exclusively) used the web version of that service to make public aware ot the imminent closure. I also know that Rai Way (the technical division) was replying about shutdown via QSLs in the last times. Main differences within Rai Radio 1 and Rai OM Unica (FM and AM) were during evening hours. Main TV shows (included football championships) were together broadcasted with the Rai MW network after 20:00/21:00 CET-CEST. On the same time normal radio schedules were properly carried out on FM frequencies. This is theory, in reality there was always a local AM transmitter broadcasting normal FM programming, I think due to some trouble. Last autumn for example was the Ancona 1 transmitter (frequency 1062 khz) to be the only (and faulty) FM relay station and back in August 2021 it was Pisa 1 (657 khz). Probably who have updated the onwlist page was noticing this time Torino 1 (999 khz) retransmitting normal Rai Radio 1 programming in recent mounth. I apologize for the long and late reply, I was kinda busy... EDIT: It seems that Rai did use their ads spaces to aware public of the imminent AM break up just a few weeks before the planned disruption. I found this information from other Italian DXer and searching online. There is also a video that seems to prove it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnvQiYuuYs6IpJo

Did you record this cassetes yourself, or you found some gold stash in some box?

Mostly It went like the second one. I was basically clearing out my grandparents house and I found this cassette, as many others, in a drawer. I decided to upload it because I find this type of content kinda interesting in some way....

@@exisisarchive ouch, clearing out a grandparrents house is a daunting task... Fortionatly, mine are still alive, but, not even sure how to get started with this, once it will be necessary, I realy hate to throw stuff away, and would probably want to move their whole house content back to me

@@DXingSlovenijaOh, I'm really glad that yours are alive, treat them with love! Yeah, I admit that cleaning a family house may result in a pesky work, but it can happen sooner or later. I also recognize that it's not easy to deal with things that have an emotional value (especially if you have to throw them off). Fortunately nowadays we have plenty of technological methods to save, at least, photo, videos, documents ecc..., but I admit that having these objects in hands is generally better. As far as I can suggest I recommend in this cases to plan an eventual space dedicated to this kind of things, keeping in mind that some object might be inevitably throw off (generally and unfortunately due to space factors).

Keep it up my You have a great signal Will you record the last hours of RAI?
@exisisarchive2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I have recorded the last operating hour of the Venezia 1 transmitter (936 khz). But unfortunately I don't think to be able to release it very soon, I have many other audio clips to elaborate and upload in the meanwhile.

@@exisisarchive thanks, just take your time I managed to capture RAI as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4eTqaeegbKtgMU I first wanted to record TRST A, but there was no signal for some reason, so then I did RAI If only I knew, what they were speaking, since I dont know italian
@exisisarchive2 жыл бұрын
@@DXingSlovenija Mmh... that's strange. As far as I know the Trieste transmitter (that carried Rai TRST A signal) used a different schedule from the other Rai transmitters. It was usually shut down between 20:00 CET/CEST to be than repowered between 6:00 in the morning (many time I hear it on air the middle of the night, but it was acutally not intended to be operative 24 hours a day). Maybe you have tried to recordid it when it was already off?

In most cases, the reason for unsatisfactory results of learning a foreign language is a loss of interest in the student, or you have stopped at some stage of their training and began to "stomp in one place. Thus, the effort and time you have spent in the absence of new techniques will not allow progress in mastering the language. For example, if you spend your time and effort learning the alphabet for months on end, you will not learn to read, write, speak and understand the spoken and written language. Yuriy Ivantsiv in his book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" writes that you should not selectively stop at one thing, and try to gradually move forward, without skipping anything and not jumping, developing all the necessary language skills for you proportionally. Only then will you get effective results. In your strategy for learning any information for you, including a foreign language, you should adhere to the following principle: you made a breakthrough - mastered the new information, then you need to take the time to consolidate the material and bring it to automaticity. The next step - learn new material and master it, and so on. "There are no secrets to success. It's the result of good preparation, hard work, and learning from your mistakes." Colin Powell. Many thanks to the author of the channel for the tremendous work in creating the instructional video. Thanks to such helpful videos, we have rapid progress in language learning.
