I don't get a couple things, why do you have the wing backs on sit narrower but the team instruction is to provide overlaps? and why is everyone on tackle harder when the team instruction is already on get stuck in? Please help me understand that

I recall i played this for a period last save, due to my two signings for some reason demanded playing (Def winger). At first it was not my taste having Wonderkid's that far down, but fastly i realised i couldn't lose a single game.

If you play on PC I suggest you watch the video again mate. All the tactics are in the video to copy. The default version is free on fmscout. To get all 3? yes its a patreon perk.

I think sometimes the computer decides the league has found you out and just plays the perfect opposite to your style. I made a 523 counter attacking wing play tactic that took Forest to 5th in the league in season 1 (wouldve been 3rd without 4pt penalty). Half way through season 2 and everybody was beating the same team, finished 13th lol

I think you should experiment with a 523 but put the wingbacks alongside the central defender, I drew against Leverkusen, Bayern and Dortmund as St Pauli (24/25 season database) using that with a low block, much higher line, step up more, regroup and counter defensive mentality
