Just finished this book and I loved it. My 2nd Grady and I gave it to a 5* because I fell in love with JD. Great review btw. (And I love Linkin Park. lol) Also... the actual cover of the book (not the dust jacket) is gorgeous!

I want to read this book so bad. I have only read Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires. I really liked that one. Dolls are super creepy.

I do not like graphic novels. It may be that I just haven’t found the right ones yet since I’ve only read a few. I hesitate to buy any because of the $$ per hour of enjoyment ratio. My library doesn’t seem to have ones I want. I’d like to try Spy Family since everyone says it’s great.

@@prupruitt6708 It was a lot of fun. They had dancing and a private casino set up. Everyone was given chips instead of using our own money and every $100 of chips won got you a raffle for all kinds of stuff. Food was good too.

I haven't read The Deep book, but I did enjoy the 1977 movie. A decent 70s adventure film. Peter Benchley's best books are JAWS, Beast, and The Deep. I thought his book Creature was garbage though.

Tremblay seems to be quite hit or miss with people. I've only read Cabin at the End of the World and thought it was okay to goodish. I think I gave that one 3 stars. You talking about this one has a vampiric creature in it has me intrigued.

I quite liked Fairy Tale, but mostly the initial third of it or so when it's set in our world. Kind does gritty realism extremely well, but his fantasy is just so-so.
