U can’t compare the two when the scrambler is all wheel drive and the trailblazer is two wheel drive that’s not a comparison

Fmf exhaust. It was installed by pervious owner. Try looking on ebay or Amazon

the kid with the 500 knows the 250 was doing better lol he wanted the 250 to always go frist to clear a freash path and keeped going rate back and forth 2 to fourwheel just trying to get it to go and not look stupid .. ....dont worrie what others and think and feed that 500 .....

I’ve got a 99 scrambler 500 HO .Have had it 20 years still runs great nothings broken on it.But as this guy nows I have a 2500 pound winch on mine,cuz when you get stuck your stuck🤣

Hi, I've been having trouble with my Hydro 175, and they actually really look the same. I think something's messing with the fuel flow... Engine started sort of surging and I gotta put on the choke or else it stalls. Cleaned the carburetor, doesn't seem to be debris, maybe air... Anyway I ended up removing the whole platform, and my vent tube on the tank was basically all destroyed and cracked and off. In Part 4 I see you installed a new yellow tube, but where does it go ? In the manual it's called "tank overflow tube" but no more info. I'm guessing it just drains extra fuel down to the ground, but was wondering where I needed to run it. I think I'm just gonna replace all the fuel lines at this point.

Yeah that little yellow line is nothing more that a vent, it just goes down, around and back up.. If you cleaned the carb good. Remove the fuel line to the carb and turn it over for 20 seconds or so and see if it had good flow out the fuel line from the fuel pump. The pumps do go bad, or there is a bad line losing vacuum to run the fuel pump.. Try that and let me know if it helps!

@@snapfish89 I think the problem was at the source, the metal pipe within the tank had so much crap it was probably almost blocked. I'm just not sure now what type of tube to get for the overflow. I got a transparent one at a store but it's too stiff

was the relay in part 3 the cure for the "no crank" issue?

No it had a safety sensor under the seat and the brake pedal, that had to be by passed. You can use a voltmeter to see if your getting power to your relay.

venomous3000, the 250s are weak, slow as heck. I had a trailblazer 400. that was a strong 4 wheeler and was very fast..

500 is 4 stroke. Hear the different in sound with these 2 quads? The red atv in video is a 500 4 stroke. The scrambler 400 is 2 stroke, not shown, but sounds like the white atv shown.

I also did that myself and it's a pain! Had to drain and fill the transmission fluid and it requires to pull that whole fender and seat assembly out. Fitting that back together I think is a 2 person job for the sake of sanity. Great 4 part video series btw. I have a 165 Hydro and 175 Hydro and everything is just about the same other than the engine sizes.
