Its not that I can't play a full size guitar - I've been doing it for 50 years - but the first time I sat back in my recliner with my Epiphone Express LP, I thought "Wow, this is really confortable". It's now my go-to guitar when I'm just sitting around noodling. I'm happy with the original hardware and electronics.

You should have kept or repainted the red band, that signifies your rifle was put into Canadian or British use to denote the need for 30-06 and not the standard .303 used. Many of these rifles saw service in WW2 at the rear for the Canadians and Brits, the Lee Enfield was needed on the front lines.

those pickups dont sound better to me that guitar sounds out of tune sounds a bit flat to me make sure you stretch your strings out adjust nut height to 0.30mm or 0.12 inch your playing is not bad its a matter of taste

I bought the tuners off Amazon, with shipping, $25 Canadian. Love them. Your Uke looks the same as mine. Friction pegs suck, I wouldnt buy any Uke with them, go proper tuners like these!

If I remember right these come stock with 9s I bought a super cheap used one for my kid. I had an extra set of 10s and it sounded way better. As long as your nut can handle it, I would agree with the 12s assessment. I’m going to put some heavy strings later after I replace my tuners (these are super crappy tuners). Great thing about these minis, if they turn out bad who cares. You kinda buy these knowing they aren’t a fender strat or even a full size squier. Just have fun trying to make something awesome out of a cheap investment.
