have you notice how much effort he had to try to get a proper foot grip on that perch stand? you should change that to a smaller perch stand, so he can grip his feet securely around it?!!.. you should treat your bird for mites... .you see how hekeeps on pecking his feet, that;s because his feet has mites on them.

please change this bird cage stand, it's too big and smooth for him..he hardly can get a good grip on it... you should go out and cut him a smaller branch stand that he can get his feet securely around it for better grip, otherwise great songster.
