The Monster Mile in Dover, Delaware... It's called the Monster because it eats dreams... Those that attempt to ride its spine, do so at their own peril... The turns are like canyon walls, the straights bank steeper than many tracks turn... Concentrate everywhere, rest nowhere... Few leave here unscathed, in equipment or spirit. 500 miles anywhere else is a Sunday school picnic compared to 500 on the Monster... It's a rush like no other to bring the Monster down. But exhausting to fight it and lose.

Johnny Herbert was one of the nicest and most likeable F1 drivers of them all back in the 90s and I don't think anyone was disappointed when he Won his first Grand Prix in 1995 in front of his home crowd at Silverstone, I remember being gutted that Damon was out after he rather foolishly collided with Schumacher taking both himself and Michael out but seeing Johnny win more than made up for it and I don't think anyone begrudged Johnny his first F1 win given what he went through in 1988 after his horrific F3000 crash at Brand Hatch 🙂
