I want this game but I'm still rocking a 1080 lol.

I've seen other people on KZbin play this new update and get one shot killed by an enemy who was hip-firing while running around a corner at distance. I doesn't seem like they fixed the aimbot AI much, if at all. That's the only thing I want to be fixed and this game will be unstoppable. I'll play a bit of it after the update but I think I'll mainly wait until it's been fixed.

Its sad being a founder of the game its just the same shit everytime with this game, slow progress and lack of updates and the same player sentiment over and over. All of us that started playing the game when it came out no longer play and as new people buy the game and come in and out on the same cycle and quit like us the same things keep being repeated about the lack of the game. They really need to step it up or its going to die.

did they fix the terrible blurry forced anti aliasing or at least added the option to turn it off? it literally hurts my eyes playing this game.

The devs said that the game build that influencers have been playing do not include the AI aimbot improvements. Are you somehow playing a different build that includes it??

I guess that it wasn't dark enough for you is really more like a settings issue. I've seen footage where it was so freakin' dark - nearly impossible to see anything without NVGs (except anywhere close to lights of course).

There’s really no point to to the AK-12 7.62 caliber if there adding the AK-15 and similarly AK-19 is interesting. There’s redundancy here if the rifle platforms have similar visual profiles. The AK-308 is a sweet addition tho!

I think that beside AI behavior improvements they desperately need to work on AI hit detection and reaction. Even in this video there are a couple instances where you put two or three rounds center mass on a non armored enemy and they do not even flinch, just keep shooting until you get the follow up.

Its first pc game for this studio. So you need to get enough time for devs to polish it. But in other hands, you need to give community something... because they are frustrated now. There is no news, why it is delayed, no videos what we can expect etc. They are doing 1 great thing and thats weekly events, but thats all. Great example is New World and The Finals... both great games, but... they forgot to communicate whit their audience, there was delays and nobody know why. I dont want to see GZW burn in ashes, so they need to do something. Maybe dont make those long waiting time for next patch (do some smaller patches). Maybe make some videos like "this is old version, this is new version" and you will see the difference (easy 1-2min video)...

I love the game and sank 100s of hours in the first few months and cant wait to return for the fresh content. I hope majority of the playerbase bounces back too. As impressed as i was with my playthrough i do wish they held off on the launch maybe 6 months to address 2 things The AI, how was that not caught in playtesting? they said months ago they know whats wrong with it and it will be fixed with the night vision content update.......why? The endgame areas are practically unplayable The gun meta. On release both because of modifications and ammo types m4/mk18 was the only viable gun to use. The best ak had an accuracy of 3 moa compared to the sub moa mk18 it was unusable at mid range. I got so excited to unlock scorpion modifications and rat some tunnels only to find out id never have an ammo to make it viable. Like i said i love the game and ill be back i just hope most of the playerbase does too. a full GZW PvP server was an experience like no other. I dont have the all the details and I assume the game needed to launch when it did to fund and sustain the project. I just wish some of those big issues were addressed on release

I think the game STALKRAFT on steam handles PvPvE extremely well and I hope the greyzone team can look at that game for inspiration on the direction they should take their game from where it is now. Currently extremely open world escape from tarkov won't hold up, need to blend the two.

Spot on take. The AI part baffles me because for a game with insane weapon/ballistics fidelity and realism, the enemies still move like bots. I think madfinger needs to give up trying to code AI because god they suck at it. Just hire some top dogs to come in and sort it out

Great video! Super informative, and interesting to see the perspective of someone relatively involved with the development process. My only bit to add would be that all the complaints come from a place of love. Everyone who bitches and complains (sometimes myself included) does so because we absolutely love the game, and hate to see how far it's fallen. We're all hoping that the new update can really bring it back to a state of glory, so it's all a bit of tough love.

AI in havoc warfare doesn't bother me that much. Its not ideal, but if its for avoiding long queue up times, then I'm ok with it. One of the things I really hate is having to wait for a long time just to start playing. Frankly I didn't even notice there were even AI players. I just assumed some of them were really new to fps games.
