The kind of politics that Hon Betty Amongi plays will certainly prove to be a very difficult feat for Hon. Ruth Achieng to match. One can also say with probable precision that the battle also goes beyond just the seat for Lira City Woman MP; it's also about who holds the role of the most powerful "Imat" in Lango, filling into the shoes left by the Legendary Imat Cissy (MHSRIP) who performed exceedingly well and set the bar extremely high for women Legislators in Uganda and Africa at large. Point it to me??,yesterday near Lira Central police station, there was refund of 5000 to each one who attended that function at Mayor's Garden, r you aware about that,some were ferried from other areas,they slept at mayor's Garden till morning of yesterday, some walked back home on foot,another group was enjoying beers at space lounge
