nearly every game i've run has been an almost entirely homebrew game and it always works out much better than a standard by the book game. Players just seem more invested when the story is tailored in such a way.

I 100% agree that it can be better than any campaign book ever written. I just know there are some common misconceptions and things that can trip people up that can hurt the experience which is what I wanted to highlight here.

I love this world/prompt. If you ever go back to it: -The comment on the prince thinking the party is the marauders? Perfect, that is a great opening. The misunderstanding gets resolved and a gameplan is hatched with the party and now allied prince. -Since you’d be making multiple marauders who resemble party members, you have a blueprint for the “bosses”. You could have them resemble members based on clothing, physical,” appearance, mannerisms, pets (if they have any). Switch it up for each marauder boss so that the party understands what the mix up was and its not too “kill your evil twin”-y (unless one of the characters has a ‘separated from family’/orphaned backstory in which you could totally have it literally been long lost or unknown family. Lots to play around with there). -if you want the end boss to be a dragon, have it revealed as the party fight through the marauders and gain a better understanding of the big picture that there IS an evil dragon. A rival to the late king who the king either kept secret (especially if you’re going to have it be a dichotomy where he was good magic and it was a corrupting force) OR who is a dirty secret of the royal family who was playing the long game from behind the scenes (uncle/cousin/bastard who coveted the throne etc) I’m super interested in this setting you made and if you ever go back to it keep us updated!

You could have run the campaign you wanted out of that story. Make it that the dragon prince thought the PCs were the marauders that killed his father, have them match the description of the villains. Don't allow the dragon to be convinced otherwise.

Pirates just keep attacking gaming in the most subversive way possible. It's really sad because they don't have to do stupid stuff like this, of well 🤷‍♂️ that's why the ninjas have to put them in their place. These people really just hate gaming and they will defend their action with any bad faith or dishonest argument possible. @SchillzSkilllz Yeah, that's the players fault you said in the issue it was marketed as such, but it wasn't if you buy baldurs gate 3, expecting a Witcher game you will be disappointed but it wouldn't be the games fault but yours, you are pinning the whole of your video to the fact that palworld is not pokemon and players expecting that were disappointed when in reality those players simply didn't do their due diligence nothing to do with the game is just trying to hate without a proper reason

Buddy, I don't know what the fuck that dude in the video is talking about. The enemies do not walk through sh*t in my game, they attack the walls until they break like normal. Is he on drugs? Ive been in two, maybe three worlds by this point, and that has never happened at all, and they fixed the glitch with the lifmunk effigy. I'm not sure if you read the patch notes, but they did this like a week ago, so that's cool. Also about the medicine system, my guy, it all depends on sanity. If they slack off, get a sickness, or anything like that, it was because the sanity bar dropped into the yellow or red or was just empty. When I keep my pals at max sanity, they never get those things. The only time they do it is because of the ONE thing I hate about this game, and thats when the pals in the base just get stuck on some BS for the longest time and drop sanity like a MF because they cant get to the food. Thats about the only problem I have.

@@SchillzSkilllz Thats fair, but if I have played on three different worlds and not had it happen a single time, nor have anybody I have talked to about Palworld, it ain't that common, so the comment about "why put things I can build in the game if they don't work" does not apply here. If it was some massive bug that was super common, that would make more sense. You are just unlucky when it comes to bugs, and even if it were super common, it is a bug after all, so they have no control over that. At launch, the defense walls were supposed to work, but just because a bug happened to you does not mean that it is the fault of the game developer. They will fix it.

I'm just highlighting that it's something that people are encountering and should be fixed in regards to the specific video. @@SchillzSkilllz You are not wrong. I just got really pissed. The reason I got that way is because there are so many people trashing this game while it's in early access. It's the only game I hear about, and it's either normal people just enjoying a game or people getting mad at it all because it's popular and has bugs. Meanwhile, suicide squad is really bad for an AAA game while Palworld is still early access, but I hear very little about that. Everybody wants to trash on the "new popular game" while it's still early access when there are actual garbage games that are from billion-dollar companies coming out, like that other guy who commented saying they are using "early access" as a shield. He's an idiot, which really makes me mad. They only want to go after Indie. I do hear things about the suicide squad being bad, but I hear a whole lot more about Palworld being bad when it is NOT.

No worries. As you can tell the majority of my channel is ranting and raving so you're not wrong there either. I think the main point I was trying to make in the video is the fact that we have to stay on palworld's developers to make sure that they continue to make the good updates which they have already proven they can do. The only reason I put more stress on a palworld versus another indie game is because unlike most indie games they are charging $30 for a game that is still in beta. Do I think they absolutely need that money for further development. Yes. But it also increases the need for them to be treated like AAA developers who don't get to run away from the fact that they're taking money to do a job.

this game uses early access as a shield from criticism. it had a muti mil USD budget and theyre charging $30. It shouldnt be as broken and empty as it is. They want people to buy into the wholesome indie story so bad. It was made by a bunch of venture capitalists.

And most games nowadays are made by billion dollar companies. Even indie games now are looking to sell their IP as quickly as possible or at least generate capital. The difference with this company unlike billion dollar companies is the fact that they're actually fixing things that the community calls out. When they stop doing that yes we can consider them a failure.

In all the distros I have tried in the last 12 years, even supported CPUs against laptop models that appear as supported can have issues(mostly with drivers). The same applies for custom Desktops, however I am not using desktop the last 5 years(or so)

@@Bonswally I think that's the whole point is a lot of times people don't feel that they're using you know a certain processor or something like that they're interacting with an OS and windows on arm is going to be significantly different for now than using x86 Windows

A relevant correction: ARM and x86 aren't about the operating system, it's the CPU instruction set. Also, ARM is almost 40 years old, it's not really that much younger than x86, just that it has a different focus on having lower costs and less energy consumption. But good video nonetheless, glad the algorithm brought me your channel.

more than likely there will be a small big cores architecture mix. Running core system functions on ARM and having x86/x64 (AMD64) cores as the backwards compatible performance cores.

So how would that work? Would that essentially partition the drive and then have one processor handle one partition and another processor handle another. Or have some level of flash running the os entirely

@@SchillzSkilllz I was thinking of it being baked into a single chip and the Scheduler decide what process goes where. But that would require eithe for microsoft cooperate with AMD or Intel. Or some company to make an ARM Pcie card talking with the main CPU and a customised linux kernel and scheduler. definitely highly unlikely for now, but I don't think simple switch to arm would work in PCs

I think windows on arm has to get way better and way more optimized. (Which is asking a lot of Microsoft) before they can start building dedicated arm based machines from OEM's. But I feel like with the success of the macbook switching over to Apple silicon based on arm that it shows there's a market for very efficient hardware.

Windows 11 arm64 will run x86/x64 applications on an arm chip without modification. How this performs in gaming or under heavy workloads remains to be seen. Still, this is how it will be done for all basic needs computing.

And there are 2 reasons that Happiny wasn’t accepted: 1) the category is evolved by friendship, so it needs to be an evolved Pokémon and 2) Happiny doesn’t evolve through friendship. Chansey does, but Happiny evolves by leveling up while holding the oval stone. The only Gen 4 Pokémon I think of for this are Lucario and Loppuny.

@@dutzysiren4963 Budew wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) work because the category is “evolved by friendship” which breaks the first part I mentioned. Budew isn’t evolved by friendship, it evolves by friendship. This applies that Riolu and Bunneary are not proper answers for the same reason.
