I bought fuel injection stainless clamps from Amazon they use a bolt style fastener and the clamp goes all the way around the hose. I found in this application that they are superior to worn gear clamps.

Hey Dan great build! I have a bunch of questions haha. Is your impact screen only attached at the header and just hanging? Also I saw the turnbuckle at the bottom of the net. I was assuming you just went from wall to wall, how is your wire routed? Did you zip tie only at the grommet openings or did you attach the net to the screen another way to make sure balls don't go behind? Thanks!
@DanC-yq7xu Жыл бұрын
Screen mounted at top, ran wires along side and tightened to floor with turnbuckles. Zip tied thru grommets to wire as well thru net about every 6 inches to help keep balls from sneaking out. Put rings along top of net around wire to help net slide easier. Also zip tied aluminum bar wrapped in foam to bottom of screen to keep sway to a minimum. It swung to much without any weight at the bottom.

So how much would it cost for a set up like this? Thanks Jim
@DanC-yq7xu Жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, sorry I've been off for a while. Build-up with screen including screen, cables and projector around $1500. Plus your computer and launch monitor.

You did a nice job. Seems like your floor would really let the balls roll around. Any problems there? What projector are you using.? Very cool set up. I’m in planning stage now. I’m going with the mevo plus.

Hi Glenn, sorry I've been off for a while. Epson projector. Ball falls off screen pretty soft, not much bounce when it hits the floor.

My wire harnesses are super tight. Did you put the dash kind of back in place then attach all the harnesses? Mine don't reach? With the harnesses all hooked up I can't reattach the dash.Thanks for this video it helped a lot.
@chadellis92473 жыл бұрын
So I had to unscrew the heater unit and run the harnesses to the driver side and up. In the pictures they are on the passenger, and dont say were to run them. Problem solved.
@DanC-yq7xu Жыл бұрын
Yeah it's tight you have to basically set the dash and plug in, the push dash all the way in.

My husband is installing this same heater and I’ve showed him this video. He has done what you did with the harness but still won’t reach to reattach. Any idea?

DC, if you have the shut off valve up front going to the heater core doesn't that eliminate the need for the shut off valve on the oil cooler line? You would have 2 shut offs on the same line?
@DanC-yq7xu Жыл бұрын
No you want to shut the oil cooler line off at the back and send coolant to the core to heat the core for heat in winter. That's the main one. Because it's a three way when you open it up to the oil cooler in the summer it it supposed to shut flow to the core down but because its a three way i found it still trickles some to the heater core so I put the second one one the line to the core to keep any residual from going to the core in the summer so I didn't get any extra heat in the cabin in the summer.
@captseamus Жыл бұрын
I used ball valves on each heater hose under the hood. Summer both valves are turned off so no heat travels through the under dash heater. You right its not an easy installation. Measure twice cut once. Lol

I believe its a 3 pin but could be a 5 pin, I got it to light up i did not have it grounded properly.
@chadellis92473 жыл бұрын
Mine won't light up either how did you ground it?
@chadellis92473 жыл бұрын
So the factory ground in the accessories bar under the hood is just not grounded? Not sure how that works. But just ran a ground from the frame to that accessories ground and now she lights right up. Thanks again for you video.

@DanC-yq7xu3 жыл бұрын
Matt, if youre asking about the on off switch i believe it is. It comes with the kit. I have since ran a ground wire to it and it does light up when it is on.
