Lol, a very simple carving one little chip at a time, not sure if my nerves are ready for this small, simple carving. Those eyes will look messy on mine, and if I can get thru the beak without breaking the endgrain. Ah, brother of the knife, you do these things and make it so simple so easy that I know that I may come close by the 10th carving, then you keep doing it... lol , knowing that my wife will love it and want one for my poor, mistreated grandson, all the while explaining, I still don't have the eyes right on the kitten in the tree. But that is the life of a carver.. thank you for your wonderful videos, and I'm getting better , not as fast as you put them out , but that's OK. Prayers love and respect from across the big pond.

Very nice, the use of chisels are bringing the next level of detail to your carving and characters.

I know this is older vid but Iv spent years on KZbin looking at woodcarving vids and yours will be what I want to follow after for many reasons! As I will finally start carving this summer. ❤ hard to find videos that have complete work in one with clear visual no talking and perfect speed for pausing! Overall you influenced me to break out my tools..
