First off it’s raining Second they’re all wearing hoods Third he’s walking at the same speed, in cadence with them Fourth they’re all talking to eachother Fifth, the camera is closer to Batman than he is to them, so obviously it’s louder for us Sixth they’re facing the other way and the wind and rain are making it hard to hear him It’s entirely realistic IMO

Their bosses are psychos eventually led by a mega-psycho who kills his own crew, they're hunted by a superhuman dressed as a Bat with advanced tech each night and every few months or years there's even more deaths on a bigger scale in Gotham from catastrophes.
