I started collecting matchbox in 1975 at 5 years old. I lived in the country and my family would go to the big city on the weekend where I would spend my allowance money of $1 on a matchbox car Later as an adult I got some cars from the 60’s Great Video

@@jonnybeyer6290 similar story. I’d have 75 cents burning a hole in my pocket and make it to the store. I would carefully select which model I wanted only to be told “it’s out of stock” 😂

Love your enthusiasm describing these spectraflame gems. Interesting thing about Hong Kong cars is how widespead the toning can be. However, the Demon and the Heavyweights are not hard to find without toning.

@ I know you said you use a q-tip and distilled water? Do you do interiors with the q-tip? After you’ve cleaned the car, to you rinse it, air dry, blow dry?
