Two points: It is very bad idea to create steel and concrete jungle in the name of Aashram at such serene and pollution free place. Whenever westerners touch anything they want to convert everything into a comfort zone and this work against the ecology and Swami apparently fell for such ideas and that shows that even after living in Himalayas he could not evolve much. There are many eco- friendly options available like using stone, mud, straw and cowDung etc. One has to come out of the physical comfort zone to experience Adhyatma but western mind will not get it. Secondly, Sanyasi is not supposed to touch Agni/fire as per Shastra and I am sure Swami knew it very well. So Havan/Yagnya is Varjya / prohibited for Sanyasi. Now we may ask why? That will require different explanation and not relaxant here.

They just want to come out of their comfort zone and hence they create these concrete structures in Himalayas in name of ashram And spoil the prestige beauty. It was part of a damn . a large chunk of glacier broke away and overwhelmed the damn on the Dhauli Ganga River, in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand 02/07/2021 . So I guess it has gone back to it's "organic roots"

@@jayf8308 Swami Sundaranad or whosoever - no one owns the Himalayas. So if you or anyone creates concrete jungle even with Swami’s blessings the question would still remain there. Westerners have destroyed ecology of most of the planet with their greed on material wealth so if they do the same to Himalayas under spiritual aashram or bla bla , we the keepers and torch bearers of Sanatan Dharma would question it and challenge it. So don’t take world for granted that your such actions will go unchallenged, so get used to it, Mr. whiteman ..

Good video. But the mantras chnanted is not correct. The guru is mixing durga chandi path with siva mantas which I coould not under stand. Anyhow the heartily pranams and surrender to god or guru is key in worship.
