These are even worst than Marantecs, Regular Wayne Dalton openers, And Chain Glides combined. These are some of the worst openers ever. Even a Genie Chain Glide is way better than this thing. Probably lasts longer too. And I think all Wayne Dalton openers got discontinued (including the regular ones). These are so bad that a Chain Glide will literally run rings over this thing. Although the Chain Glide was a bad design and they were not the best. Even Marantecs are like 100X better than this. Also Liftmaster is a very common opener and they will usually last around 15 years. These iDrives usually lasted less than 10 years. Also iDrive sounds like an Apple product LOL.

That LiftMaster was an excellent choice. Can’t go wrong with a LiftMaster chain drive.

I would choose the liftmaster Because it's extremely smooth And it's probably even quieter Then The Wayne Dalton Garage door opener Also the liftmaster You can control it With your phone Even though it's slower It's still better I'm the 1st one to comment on this video

Ever heard of balance springs, or torsion springs? The balance springs will hold the door in the open position if they are installed. That way you don't have to lift the weight of the door.
