Her disbelief and anger that Ody would ever dare say that he isn’t her husband, and also the absolute love and adoration she has for her husband shines through as well. Perfectly executed ❤

I really love the decision to have the flashbacks of who they used to be presented in front of them. I also appreciate that during that Penelope shows up first because to Odysseus he is further from being his old self as opposed to Penelope. Also I love the decision to have the contrast between Penelope grabbing his face in the past vs the present as it gives more meaning to how Odie's smile is torn. The stickyness of the blood shaped like hands really shows how those deaths still haunt Odie but also how they kinda held him back from reaching Penelope. Or rather it illustrates how despite the fact Odie is now right here with Penelope right in front of him there is still a distance between them because he has changed so much due to those actions. Also those tears of Penelope's at 4:11 just hits me. And of course ending with her grabbing his face again but unlike the last time she is grabbing it actually knowing everything he has done to get back. I like how after Odysseus falls down Penelope follows him to support him. It is just so sweet. And of course Telemachus retreats coolly.

The small details absolutely make this for me! The movement, the angles captured, the emotion portrayed- it's my favorite yet, I think. And the regal way that Penelope carries herself with is noteworthy too. Especially contrasted with Odysseus's hesitation and faltering movements. I love it.
