Don't buy one ever, no bait boat caught fish count, and are only used by the desperate, also it leads the user into fishing in a stereotypical manner which often conflicts with other anglers.

Nice. Can you tell me why i should chose the vulcan over te actor plus? I use it mainly for pike so i maybe have advantage over the loading system of the vulcan, but the actor plus looks more versatile?

@@SxDaz hi mate, you can leave fully charged providing you’ll be draining them down a little in the recommend time frame. It’s only if you’re not then going to use them for 6 months for example

@@RobertEdmondson-y6q there isn’t really any where else to place the batteries or loom etc. we found this the best solution and reality is you’re only losing a very minute amount of storage in the bag.

Great boats and excellent value for money compared to competitors. I have the Actor Plus Compass and I love it - great battery life, light, good capacity, easy to use and reliable. My only criticism, and it is quite a relevant one, the hoppers are so close to the water when driving that they let in water. I use solid PVA bags a lot and they melt before getting to the spot due to the water entering the hopper. You can layer the bottom with bait (pellet/boilies) but if you want minimal bait around your spot this isn't an ideal solution. If the doors could have some form of seal to prevent this then the boat would be perfect. Keep up the good work. 😃

Great video 🙌 Is it possible to do a video on the gps calibration settings as my boat isn't as accurate going to a saved or home point? Sometimes it is way off and that's after compass calibration and making sure I have 12 satellites. Other than that I'm really pleased with my Vulcan GPS.

My Actor mk4i is my first bait boat, I’ve had it for a year and a half, the only problem I have with it is bank envy “the bait boat is the only reason he is catching so many!” It’s a fantastic little boat, I’ve recently added a bait spreader which is also great. I’d probably buy the Vulcan as a replacement but only if my actor dies.

I've got the actor plus pro modal I've owned for around 1 year it's only used in France as I'm fortunate enough to work on a fishing complex. Out there it's been an absolute god send never had one problem even going out over 400 yards it's helped me catch more carp than I could ever dream of including a personal best of 58.11 .it's certainly worth looking at if you're in the market for a reliable boat at a every reasonable price point.

Picked up my first entry level Mk4I second hand and very pleased with it. Fitted your spreader and works a treat. May work up to a Vulcan , but as was my first boat the Mk4i is a great start.

@@BarrieRumens unfortunately this is a bit of a characteristic of them, most of the time it’s a split second but they often open at slightly different times

I have an Actor MK4i. Ive had it for 3 years and all Ive had to replace is the rear hopper servo which I replaced myself easily . Ive fitted mine with a rear hinged hopper cover to use pva in the rain . Ive also used Go-pro arms to fit my Deeper over the prow of the boat . This being centralised allows the boat to steer in a straight line and being on the front it allows me to drop the rig without any possibility of it tangling around the Deeper . The Actor MK4i is a fantastic little boat that does absolutely everything I need it to do , and I didnt need a mortgage to purchase it . I wouldn't be without mine and can recommend the Actor MK4i as being a solid and reliable little boat .

Have a Basic. Works fine, but… Both the release arm catch (that swivels) on the rear hopper, and the motor that drives it, broke within the first year. Had to fix both myself (and at my cost) cos’ seller showed zero interest, and unable to find any central contact at Boatman who would,respond to me. Would not recommend at all.

@@mrtusa1 we never advertised the actor plus as being waterproof, very few bait boats are waterproof. This is the reason why we made the improvement to the Vulcan

The water must be going in because there are air bubbles coming from the rear right side of the boat !
