How do you clean the hoops, is there a special cleaner used?

Thank you! You saved us from having to return this printer. It was stuck on the "Start Here" screen. Holding the "?" button for five seconds cleared the screen and moved us forward!

Thanks so much for going so slowly as you installed all of the hat hoop equipment. I recently purchased a used PR670E and it came with the hat hoop, but I haven't attempted to use is yet. Now that I saw how to install everything, I'm motivated to try hats!! You were so detailed every step of the way. I'm SO HAPPY you are back because I enjoy your videos and have learned so much from you! Life is always going to be a struggle, but embroidering takes my stress away and makes me HAPPY!

13:34 hello I been watch your helpful videos and looking for an affordable sewing machine that can do pocket placement stitch to safe me time. Do you know any other machines that can do that instead of the $1000+ ? Thank you for your time
@AshleyMonogramsАй бұрын
Hi! I would recommend any of the flatbed type Brother/Babylock Machines. I would double check what size you want the pocket to be, a 4x4 may work (cheaper) or you may need a machine that will do up to 5x7 (can still find under $1000) such as the Brother PE800 or PE900. I hope that helps some!

Can I use any material for the appliqued part of the design?

Most fabrics will work but cotton is the most common.

I've seen other tutorials that use wash away embroidery stabilizer.. is the heat n bond in replace of it?
@AshleyMonograms3 ай бұрын
The heat n bond is meant to secure the fabric to the garment to help keep it smooth with wash & wear. I would not suggest using wash away stabilizer behind the shirt as a stabilizer but the clear wash away stabilizer that goes on top of the garment can help with cleaner stitching. I personally do not use this often on items without a lot of pile or loft, that's just my preference!

Hi Ashley! I love your work, I came back to this video to get tips for the jackets. I see that you do a lot of fleece jackets, I was wondering what you do for vinyl jackets with mesh lining. How do you embroider them? I can't take seam apart.
@AshleyMonograms6 ай бұрын
Hey! I've worked with a few that have a zippered lining, which is amazing! But, of course, most don't have that nice feature. I like using mighty hoops and the mighty hoop board to hoop those up. I just stitch through all of it. The magnetic frames help hold everything tight so there's less chance of the lining moving or bunching underneath.

Thank you so much for this! It’s exactly what I was looking for. What kind of thread do you have to use for the bobbin? Is it embroidery thread or just regular thread? Also are u using a specific embroidery needle?
@AshleyMonograms6 ай бұрын
I specifically use bobbin thread. It is a different weight than embroidery thread. The exact weight of bobbin thread recommended for each machine can vary.

Can’t you use teflon sheets instead of paper?
@AshleyMonograms8 ай бұрын
You'll want a fresh sheet each time as you can get some bleed through that you would not want to transfer onto your press platen or the next item.
