Yeesh. Pretty harsh questions and comments by the journalists towards the film! Regardless, this stuff is a gem to view in modern times!

I love their enthusiams for this film series. I loved those 3 movies too as a kid of age 9, 12, and 15. The world seemed so much more innocent and wholesome back then. It's was a different world than we have in 2024...and not different in a good way.

My dad taped this for me from the TV back in the day. I used to watch it to death over and over. I also had a large number of the toys shown in this video, including the large Luke Skywalker as well. Happy Days May the Force be with You.

I hope when I die, I get to relive my childhood when these movies were coming out. Didn’t care that Episode I & II were pretty trash, I was the perfect age for these films to inspire and enrich my inner fantasy world. Star Wars Bounty Hunter & the Clone Wars XBOX game were amazing games to pair alongside the release of Episode II. The original two Battlefront games were also so memorable and addicting to play. My best friend and I used to spend entire weekends after school, well late into the night, playing “versus” campaigns against each other, stealing all my parent’s chips and Diet Coke (gross but that’s all my parents would drink as fast as soda). Anyways, I wish I could go back and recapture that sense of wonder, imagination, immersion into another universe, that sense of play and not caring about tomorrow. My best friend killed himself six months ago, we were best friends for nearly two decades, both into nerdy shit like this while we later became known as the troublemakers, burn outs, delinquents, and rebels. I wish I appreciated how something so simple like Star Wars could supply us so many hours of entertainment and fun. I hope death will reunite us and give us all a chance to re-experience these special memories but with a greater sentimental appreciation for them in the moment.

I would do anything to date Natalie Portman back then. Being a young late 90’s boy, these movies probably imprinted a fantasy crush that will stay close to my heart until I die, though my wife likes to tease me about it. Total babe, what she went on to do is also incredible, too bad we were 5 years apart in age, I got to date a few smaller celebrities from TV, but couldn’t manage to find the right hangouts that Natalie went to. Also, pissed I couldn’t meet up with the young Ewan, a hilarious yet intelligent man. Oh how time feels like a thief…

Compared to most other things that were out at the time, it's one of the best films of the year. Compared to the previous two films, major step down. As a kid I remember feeling pretty much the same way at the end of this one as the end of all of the trilogies: "OK that was fine. That was an ending. It's over now." None of the trilogies have 'great' endings, just 'fine' endings. ROTJ petered out with teddy bears and 'here's the deal with Vader'. ROTS showed Vader beginning his cyborg soap opera but didn't show him in battle or doing anything interesting. ROS had that weird Star Trek sort of ending. All of them are 'ok', none of them are 'amazing'. Nobody has really stuck the landing of this stuff.

I would love to go back in time to see the first trilogy again. You know, before G. Lucas ruined them all with CGI. Sigh.
