Both the scenes were worse in it's own way. There should be some sort of fight between batman and Superman like the one shown in Justice league War animated movie when they first met. Both the directors doesn't understand the character of batman. They absolutely nerfed him. One showed some unnecessary dialogue between them and the other showed Batman just standing like a statue waiting for his heat vision to test his gauntlet

Josstice League: an actually coherent movie that doesn't wastes time. ZSJL: a four hour long trailer for the shittiest alt universe conceivable. I used to not mind this version of the movie, didn't understand and even argued with all the negative reviews and shit, and then I saw the Snyder Cut and holy SHIT was I so so wrong. It's an absolute tragedy that WB somehow thought it was a good idea to have a guy who's entire PHILOSOPHY is that it is absolutely CRUCIAL to put tension-shattering jokes in every movie possible, no matter how dark, finish a film started by a guy who is literally his polar opposite in every way. AND also doesn't understand (or just doesn't care) DC's dark and serious world vs. Marvel's colorful and funny world.

There's some kinda irony that Joss Whedon did the Avengers and that was an amazing movie. Yet he dropped the ball with the Justice League.

i think both have their pros and cons theatrical cut: - i like that Lois is his contingency plan in the situation, like he knows that'll calm him. that feels like something Bruce would do - it looks terrible and the "do you bleed" line sucks snyder cut: - he's just, standing there? like that's his plan? - they set up that heat catching gadget early on in the film, and this is one of the payoffs? simply something that you can cut, does not add much to the story - looks far better in terms of scale

I’m usually not a fan of ADR to begin with due to how lazy and artificial it feels at times, so it is especially painful to see a movie that’s riddled with blatant ADR to not only force in jokes, but also dub over entire lines for the sake of changing context for no reason. Bottom line, either stick with the script or don’t write it if you’re not going to film it.
