Well... Idina was the one who opened the show in London, so she had the american accent... from then they had english accents. Honestly both work tho, it's Oz, and it's musical theatre - everyone interprets things differently so there's no right or wrong answer here :)

No they didn't. They've always had British accents everytime I've seen it, and I saw it with Kerry when it first opened...

They all did American accents in London until Rachel Tucker took over and could only do an English accent, so they changed it so she could do it and have kept it.

Ant has won one now!

I watched it again after I learned about her accent and caught maybe 3 very minor noticeable words. The word "everything" when she tells NessaRose "What could he get me, I clash with everything" ( said more- evra-thing), And I'm not too sure if her "good" while singing is taught that way for pronunciation or if that's her accent, more of a long o like "goo" with a d. I have one or two more but I can't remember them. I really don't care, she's one of my favorite Elphaba's.

Well, when brits sing, they normally sound more "american" remember the Spice Girls? lol She DID do an American accent for Broadway in New York for her speaking parts, but I think like some people said that was probably the director/producers doing and not hers. I assume it was so we Americans didn't find it odd or vocally strange. I watched all of Wicked on 1channel and honestly didn't know she was a brit til I looked her up on youtube. And I'm from PA (USA) so her accent was great!

I personally have always thought Legolas does have blonde hair, and thought I would have trouble picturing him with anything else! But I really love him as a brunette in this, and I think it looks better than if he was blonde :) I also love the Elves' face paint
