I bought a second hand Gold K4 in 1974 when I was 17. It was my first motorbike. My mate had the Maroon one like yours. Your video brings it all back to me, the feeling of being free and having my own transport. Thank you.

I looked up the manafacture spec sheet could only find a 1972 cb250… claimed 30bhp and 90mph! Screming its nuts off on the limiter

1:57 the junction is called Hollowhead Cross, and if you pass to the left of the triangle (even if youre turning right) you get a much better view of any traffic approaching from your left.

Here in the States it was a CB-350. Very popular bike. Maybe not as fast as Suzuki, Yamaha or Kawasaki 350's but a very competent reliable machine.

I’m new to Gill and I know it was mentioned in another comment but there is no Aldi or shell garage. Also I see the the Road open where there was apparently a CO-OP In town. That’s all closed now. This small town has been good to me the last 6 Months I’ve lived here and I even work close by now. Thanks for the upload ! I was nice to see the town a few years back ❤ I’m extremely proud to live here 🍻

@user-io3vx5zm7s hello 👋 still absolutely loving it here. So all supermarkets are about a 5 to 7 minute drive away from my end of town. If you want Morrisons or Tesco it’s 10 - 15 minutes away. Great transport links with the train station, we are on the line to London Waterloo and Exeter in the other direction. It’s a very small town but we still have things like pubs post office and fuel stations. I would recommend visiting the area and see what feeling you get. You might be lucky enough to find one or two hidden gems like the Old Brewery Cafe for example

I had many of these in the 80,s.in London at that time 250,s were sitting in front gardens unused and unloved, because of change in learner laws no body wanted them.i used to knock the doors and buy them or get them for free.i don't think I ever paid more than £50.i probably had about 40 bikes 250cc and under in the 80,s just from front gardens.worth a fortune now.good days they were.
