How many people noticed that in the first movies she was black. Only when the character become more important was she recast with a white actor. I'd like to know why she was recast. After all, her race was not mentioned at all in the books. Did they think Ron would not date a black girl? I thought we had come farther than that.

It’s to do with how extras work. A lot of them are only contacted to do the one film or so as a none speaking role and they didn’t know back then how important she would be later on. So when they do know they have to re-audition for the role.

I too always believed Hermione has a very narrow mindset, and it was so awful of her not to comfort Lavender but criticise Trilony in such a sad moment. And how this video series doesn't have much more likes and comments??

I wouldn't say they were unnoticed. They were about 40 students in Harry's year so if JK told us which house everyone was sorted into it would go on forever. We don't know 100% how many Hufflepuffs there were. But id we were to divide the students equally there would be at least 10 new students in each house.
