Hi Marc! Really enjoying your videos. Quick questions, I'm looking at buying a MacBook Pro M4 Max with 64 Gg of Ram for the kind of work you're describing here (plus 3D work I also do). I was wondering if you think 128gb would be overkill (I want a lot of headroom for the future, but I don't really want to dump unnecessary money into a laptop if 64gb is enough). I understand "it all depends", but what do you think you would do? Also do you think 2Tb of hard drive space is enough internal memory (putting instrument libraries on external drives), or do you think more internal disc space is way better? Finally, I'm looking into new 88 key weighted keyboards that are also good MIDI controllers. Any suggestions? I have the budget at the moment, but also like to spend wisely. My current keyboard has died. I've done a lot of research, but would love to know your opinion. Thanks again! And great work!

Just purchased a pc from Vision DAW. I9 24 core. 192 GB. 2tb NVME main drive. 3, 4tb NVMEs for samples, projects etc. Custom configuration of Windows for audio production. All the bloat ware stripped out/turned off. Sure, the investment is substantial but it’s a terrific computer that should more than meet my needs for years to come. And I’ve been very impressed with their support. Mark was very patient with all of my questions beginning with the research and purchase process through setup. And a comparably powerful Mac would’ve been so much more expensive.

I would not have put that first hit there, it sounds a bit Mickey Mousey to me, better to keep it subtle, specially because its just the start of the conflict, the second hit I think you did that, with a sub boom.

Like how you make vibrato on keyboard unintentionally. Curious what can experience can force it. I'm a guitarist , but never been doing this on piano. Maybe you've been playing on this new fancy keyboard with vibrato....

First of all, thank you so much for this very clear video, I got an assignment to compose a piece for a school project and this helped me understand the 3 forces that I, believe it or not, struggled a lot with comprehending. (It felt like all the sounds were just blending together) Second, would you mind checking your pdf download link? I tried the link and unfortunately, the redirect leads me to a 404 page :( Thank you so much!

@@CinematicComposingMark, if you’d like to learn how to make even better videos and teaching people how to teach others, my friend Richard has been teaching people how to do this for many decades (more recently on Zoom of course)! . I am saying this because I care about you making the best videos and training. Let me know. It would mean you would achieve even greater success in showing people how to be great composers, and so on. I’ll see you tomorrow on the course ! Looking forward to it!
