Not sure how much the control arm was but I would have just replaced the whole arm instead. In my area both balljoints is the same price as the arm. 😢

0:18 I have this exact idle noise now and thought it was my e40d trans because it feels like something is coming from the tunnel. But it does feel like a miss and I investigated. Found out my drivers side front uvch plug all corroded. Will clean when I get a chance and see if the intermittent issue stops. 🤞

I have done them for a long long time. Actuly i replace mines every year. really bads roads here. But its more easy with an hydraulic pres.
