I can pick one blindfolded and ear plugged. Either of them fits my playing style. Although the LS 16 sounds brighter, The LL 16 still is clear on finger picking.

Well I hear the LS overall much better than the larger LL. Much more articulate and emotive. Sure the LL has more bass- but the tone is just sort of even and blocky. LS all the way.

To my ears the Santa Cruz has the edge - extra magic in the mids. Have ordered these to try but unfortunatly the USPS keeps loosing them. Two sets so far but no delivery. Hope someone is enjoying these or they are now on Reverb? My SC OM will just have to use the John Pearse.

I have fishing line thicker than those strings….😂 It can sound hollow, and mid/high overwhelmed with the light light strings imo…..mediums are for me on the dreadnaught. 12’s on that lowden….just my 2 c, thanks

Dude- you’re using different strings on each guitar. On the sample it looks like those are the Martin ‘retro’ strings or whatever which are dim/warm compared to your phosphor bronze on the sitka top…

The LS has more clarity for fingerstyle and the LL more balance and depth for strumming. Both nice guitars.

Rode NT5's sound has much more resolution, mids sound incredibly well-tuned and defined, and there's an impressive amount of micro-details in the treble. But..... it is 10x more expensive, so the quality is to be expected. Meanwhile the CM-60 is surprisingly good for its low price.

Yamaha's playability seems tough on this video. Taylor is playing seemlessly while the guy is somewhere struggling to fingerpick yamaha. Maybe am wrong. String and frets are tougher to brush past it seems in yam.
