Can’t you just put the bleeder where the brake line goes in and put the brake line where the bleeder is? You wouldn’t have to cut or weld anything.

Eibach pro kit?

Question: My 1931 Roadster has the original mechanical breaks. I want to change to a master cylinder / break cylinder system. What is the preferred year model back plate that I should use for the conversion that will be the least labor/fabrication intensive? I'm also switching out the original engine for a 1951 flathead. I need for this car to stop! Thanks.

with a b18 swap the front should sit a little lower just ordered eibach pro kit didn't want to go with eibach sport line right away since it's a daily we shall see thanks for upload

Any follow ups to this? With respect, I believe that when you invert the plate and put it on the other side, you need to treat the rear as the front. The long shoe and the bigger end of the cylinder wants to be towards the rear. I like what you did to mount the cylinder in the correct orientation.

No, nada. works great with stock setup. Checked alignment and it was within specs.

Did you need front and rear camber kits?

the tires are 195/50 R15 on volkswagen Scirocco wheels. the tires have the same diameter as the stock size.

The Model-A chassis is being topped with a '27 T roadster with turtle deck. I'll be keeping the 4-banger flatty motor. I'll lower it, put some speed equipment on it, and it'll be part speedster and part hotrod. Should be a super fun car.

Hmmm. it's interesting that your's sets lower. Maybe your car is heavier. I've since lowered the rear and like the looks much better.

Just using the stock shocks, and they work great with the springs.

The plan is to keep the model-A flathead 4 banger. I have a '27 T roadster body that i'm fitting to the frame. It'll be eligible for Speedster runs which require pre-34 four banger engines. I have a lot of frame mods planned including Z'd rear, suicide front, and raising the engine and trans so i can get it in the weeds. Because of this, i'm thinking seriously about building up a new frame from scratch using 1-1/2 x 3 x 1/8th inch wall tubing...
