That song brings me back to Harvest Temple about 1982. Pastor Vep.’s church was filled with the Holy Spirit , and his family was awesome. Praise the Lord.

Wish church music was still like this. Modern Praise and worship music has churches sounding like rock concerts now.

I would not be a christian today if I didn't have a praying mother who refused to give up on me. I was young rebellious I didn't want anything to do with church. My Holy Ghost filled mother would be on her knees in her bedroom when I came home from school praying for me she never gave up that's why I'm serving God today. My mom cared enough to keep on praying until I gave my life to God. I am so BLESSED Mama loved me she never gave up.

So thankful for a pastor that will let the Holy Ghost take over the service. It touches my heart the way everyone prays for others.

This song, while enormously uplifting, actually makes me just a little sad. It's at the end of a concert filmed at the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and it's quite possibly the last video Rex Nelon was ever in. The next stop in this particular Homecoming tour was London, and Rex passed from a massive heart attack on January 24, 2000, the night before the London concert. The London Homecoming video actually has a tribute to him in the program. Two things make it ok, though. First, he's safely in the arms of a loving Savior, and secondly if your swan song is going to be Southern Gospel, there is none better than this upbeat, bass-centric classic!! Oh, happy day!!

Love this old song we used to sing in church when i was a young girl. Loved to hear the Happy Goodman's sing this so thankful Adoration is keeping these songs alive. I love to hear them sing. Do they have CD'S or DVD'S?

This is one of my favorite female singers. This song I had never heard it is beautiful. She sang with the anointing.

Heard him sing this at the Southern Ohio Church of God Campmeeting in 1976 or 77. I think it was at the University of Dayton arena.

Brother Shortridge is right on target. Very few of the churches up where I live even have an alter. To find a church that has an alter and have a alter service where the Holy Ghost is being poured out is almost unheard of. Good singing by pastor Shortridge even better preaching. Please continue to pray we need a moving of the Holy Ghost in our churches up here. Without God the father,Jesus his son and the Holy Ghost being invited into the services people are left barren and dry. I know of several people right now praying and looking for a church such as yours. God bless. Judy Davis

Ellen Miller was my best friend for 30 years. She would always sing this song for me when we were in town. She had been sick with her diabetes my husband,Mark and I were moving back to kentucky in two weeks. One night I couldn't sleep I received a phone call about 7 am God had sent his angels to take her home to be with him. I just couldn't understand why God didn't wait just two weeks so I could have said goodbye. I miss her everyday singing this song brings back the wonderful memories Ellen and I shared. Thank you for singing my song you have touched my heart and blessed my soul.
