@EnduroCowboys5 ай бұрын
LOL, yes they are...all those "trails" in like the first half of the video, were created by Curtis aka The White Wizard haha...he's on the KTM 4 stroke...there is quite the network of them mostly on his property...we just need to run them over and over to get them a little more established before we can do them at pace. There some tight stuff in there as you can see...sometimes hard to tell if there is a trail at all haha.

@EnduroCowboys5 ай бұрын
Rocky Mountain ATV has them in the OEM section. Also AOMC has them aka KTM-Parts.com

@@EnduroCowboys awesome i really appreciate it cause I’ve been watching your vids for a while and I bought a husaberg te 250 2011 model and that thing rips, i just want to replace all old plastics and redo everything! But love the videos man keep em coming!!

@GREGHOLUB thanks for asking...I had all the intentions of finishing this project, but had a change in my job situation, for the good...but I've just been SO busy that I just haven't had any time to do it. I've decided to sell it along with the bazillion parts that I have for it haha. I've got someone now who wants to finish the job....so I'm gonna pass it on.

@EnduroCowboys5 ай бұрын
LOL, that is very true! It was so tempting to try and plow through some snow, but I just didn't have it in me today...just wanted to get on the bike at least and get a little ride in...usually we're neck deep in snow in February, so this was pretty rare indeed. Thanks for the comment! Cheers!
@soupysocksenduro5 ай бұрын
@@EnduroCowboys I've been there lots! yeah its crazy here to (I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and its been crazy warm here, we just got a bit of snow today, so the trails will be full once again, I will be back on my bike later in March, but plan on full swing weekend riding come April! Loving the content bro! keep it coming!
@EnduroCowboys5 ай бұрын
@@soupysocksenduro Thanks bro! Yeah, it's been such a crazy winter here...the least snow I've ever seen in the 43 years that I remember being alive here haha. Not complaining tho! You can see my snowmobile sitting on the grass there...I only rode it once before the snow melted LOL. I hear there is some great riding country up there in Canada...I'd love to check it out sometime...I've got a bunch of unedited videos still from last summer that I need to get to here sometime...when I just record with one camera it's pretty quick and easy to edit, but with multiple cams it becomes much more time consuming...but also the videos are better with more cams, so it's a trade off I guess...I'll try to get some new content rolling here soon! Thanks for watching!

did you keep the stock wiring harness on? I am confused what that is above the airbox (small square box, looks to be an ecu). I dont want to screw with the bike to much i just want to wire the lights up, did you wire the new harness to that?
@EnduroCowboys Жыл бұрын
Hi bonavita, thanks for your comment, I had to watch the video again myself as it's been some time now since I did this...so...as far as the stock wiring harness, I left that in, as you use the stock headlight wiring for this kit. The mess I had to deal with was due to this bike previously having the Baha Designs lighting kit installed, which had been wired a bit janky...so I had to do a lot of testing with meter and continuity testing to make sure I was getting into the right wires. The Tusk kit comes with its own wiring harness, which is what you primarily use...it connects directly to battery, so that part is pretty easy to figure out. It was just that I had to try and find the stock wires for headlight in a sea of wires that had been stuffed in to the bike frame haha. That box you mentioned is indeed the CDI box...or ECU...yes. the brains. Good luck! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

I have an almost identical kit, have issues with the horn cant quite figure out how it wires up, the previous owner kinda botched a few things, One thing I would like to mention is that the headlight is reverse by factory, the high is switched with the low setting.
@EnduroCowboys Жыл бұрын
Ha! I knew it! I was wondering about that bright and dim...I thought maybe i had wired it wrong LOL. Thanks for the heads up...as far as the horn...I don't quite remember but I this bike was the same way...it had the stock wiring harness which was hacked up, plus the Baha Designs one which had been added, but was all messed up so I think I stripped out everything that wasn't being used and managed to find a positive lead to tap into...good luck man! Great trail bikes!
