That’s kind of a Page lick. I like it. I may have to steal that idea.

My pick scrapes suck. More practice…👍🏻 On my 5 string bass the picks disappear pretty quick like cheese on a cheese grater.

I’m going to study this. Started playing when I was 13. Now 56 and have not played for about 10 years. Giving me encouragement to rekindle.

Most everything I do on youtube is created off the cuff, I never played that before. I dont have a band or record originals anymore so much of this stuff is created and forgotten in the same day. Thank you 🎸🎸🎸

My Floyd Rose is a Vantage guitar super strat. A couple years go by and I find another exact one and I bought that one. The serial numbers are far apart. Both nearly unused for about $200 each. Black semi transparent twins, beautiful and they hold tune great. I got good fast at setting them up and floating the bridge. Made in Korea. My first guitar is an early 80’s Vantage made in Japan by Matsumoko, a hair band red guitar hard tail. I bought the red one, my first guitar, a couple days after reading an interview of Poison Ivy ( Kristy Walkace ) The Cramps how she learned guitar playing Link Wray tunes. I seen them a couple times live, also Ramones and Motörhead in concert were my motivation to start learning guitar. Early punk, hardcore, psychobilly are my top three genres then close behind are all the relevant rest. I am away from my Vancouver apartment at my trailer in the Apache Junction Arizona desert 🌵 In three days my wife and I go to Mexico travelling for 4 months. I will get a lot of practice time in on my modded headless guitar I take apart for airline carry on. I am a retired yacht captain and worked in Mexico for a while, a wild career. Travelled and still travelling lots. Budget travel, budget guitars. Life is short…

Awesome history and enjoy your travels. My dad was a yacht Captain also. He used to Captain a 67 Broward Sport Fish to Bimini every weekend. One of his jobs.
