Thats kinda shameful, Afterburner was Arrow Development's prototype Launched Loop model. The Beach and Baseball place in Florida bought the coaster straight off of Arrow's testing grounds back in 1977. It lasted there until it came to Fun Spot in 1990/1991. It was the embodiment of a vintage and historic coaster. From what I hear, pieces of it, like the roof, launch sleds and its train were sent to Oklahoma for use on Diamondback at Frontier City, which is the same as Afterburner.

It is at the Allen County Fairgrounds every summer. A bit north of downtown (by 20 minutes) where most of these shots are from but part of Fort Wayne.

Longer shots before changing to next image would be more enjoyable for this. For something this detailed, the eye wants time to feast, not try and scramble to collect the information.

As of July 2020 all stores are under new ownership. It’s gone completely downhill and prices are outrageous now.
