Tangsa(80 subtribes), nocte, wancho, tutsa, ollo, konyak, Chang, khiamniungan, heimi, pangmi, rangpang, laju, chuyo, htangan, ponyo etc and all the subgroups under them and the villages are one people of one origin better known as tangshang for genealogical purpose. Kachins or jingphos or singphos are our immediate cousins. The wildest and most ferocious the ahoms and the britishers encountered. We are the most divided people in the history of the world because of our ego and attitude and bloodlust of the past. We won against the tai ahoms and other tai shans thats why we wear their elephant ivories proudly in our arms. Our areas and people were used and still is for the naga insurgency but the people are the poorest amongst the nagas. While one Brothers fight for the insurgency the other dies bravely for the Indian government in Kashmir like hangpan dada and many more. We are brave but we are naive. May the almighty sky above and the spirits of our ancestors and the spirits of the world help us and guide us towards a successful future of peace, progress and development and an end to exploitation. That is my only wish before I die.
