I dislike when people claim everything on social media is fake. Travel can be done for very cheap but it requires sacrifices. You must own nothing, work in hostels in exchange for accommodation, eat from the grocery store, take local public transportation or bike etc. I have traveled the world on a budget that is elss than it would cost to have a very small shitty apartment in my country (Canada).

So, it’s unfortunate on both ends. Most people who fall for these types of schemes are looking to get rich quick.
