Very interesting about horses overtaking the ships. And the part about so many varieties of apples has now given me the idea of wanting to learn how to graft other kinds of apples into my two apple trees. Thanks!

An update on Fact 23. It was pointed out that Shakespeare didn't actually invent the word "generous" but instead invented the modern day usage of the word. Prior to Shakespeare, generous meant one of noble birth. Sorry for the confusion.

Correction - In the first fact, I say that the average person has 1.5 - 2 square meters of skin..., that should be approximately 1.5 - 2 square meters of skin. Unfortunately, KZbin does not allow me to add a text correction after a video has been uploaded. Sorry for the confusion.

In the landscape of horror/tragic story telling or facts, I'm glad I found your channel. The soft and mellowness of your speaking is a nice change of pace from the sporadic and loud speakers from other fact channels.

On freezing points I think your graphics were mistaken. Regular beer freezes at about 28F and Vodka at -16 F.

Wow, you are correct, I read the page I got that from wrong. It's 64 proof or 32% alcohol that freezes at -23 F. Thanks for the correction.

I had no idea astronauts didn't do laundry, but makes sense. I wonder how many stinky tees got burned up over the years!!!
@knowyourdeets5 ай бұрын
That's a good question. Unfortunately there is no breakdown that I could find for individual pieces of trash, however one person with the Space program was quoted as saying "Four astronauts can generate up to 2,500kg [5,510lbs] of trash per year". This is all trash combined, so not just clothing.
