Do you happen to have any video of building the arch... I'm thinking of building one too!
@OurSailingAdventuresАй бұрын
Sorry not really. I’m not into videoing my projects to much, takes to much time and I just wanna get them done and go sailing. The arch cost me $3-4k including the solar, and the quote to get just the arch fabricated was around $15k, so totally worth the work.

M5! We saw it at Mill Bay a while back, they allowed people at Bridgeman's Marina to be on the dock when they pulled in. Huge!!!! Thx again for fantastic scenery I'll never see in person 😊

Great episode. Such a beautiful place. Can't wait to get there one day.

Why are you fast forwarding this? So unnecessary. We know how to do that if we are bored and if the video is boring then don't post it. Just a thought. Please don't FF video as we are watching this because we want to watch sailing.

I was in all of those communities back in the early seventies on commercial fishing boats. Queens cove was abandoned then but from a different time period, no electricity.

Nice video but your panning around is to fast...sorry
@lancevangemst50866 ай бұрын
instead of a rangefinder my advice is to just use your radar, you can find a spot in the middle of a ton of boats this way.
@OurSailingAdventures6 ай бұрын
Ya I do use radar when lots of boats around, but I still like to be out on deck and use the rangefinder, especially in quieter anchorages. Thanks tho.

I remember...working in the office at the Mill, if you needed ofc supplies you had to climb a ladder to a roof top, walk across the roof to the supply room where a monster guillotine was situated for cutting 12" stacks of paper.

hey sandy and josh, what is the length and model of your boat? Nice single handed camera work.

Hi, That boat is a 1986 Truant 37', Pilothouse model.
@Rastameister2 жыл бұрын
@@OurSailingAdventures I'd not heard of Truant before, but I compared her specs with the Crealock 37 and I was quite impressed. I think pilothouses are a better fit for the North Pacific. Thanks for sharing that and the video.

Hello. Just discovered your videos and we love them. Especially the ones up north on the Inside Passage. Please keep them coming. So much better than the others out there who are so fake. You two are quite genuine and we want to visit all the places that you go to in our sailboat starting this summer. That said, please tell us more about yourselves in your "About" page. We want to know what kind of boat you have. It looks like a Nauticat but we don't think it is. Do you live aboard? Curious minds want to know more. Thanks!

Hi, Thank you for the great comment! Our boat is a 1986 Truant 37. A great boat for the PNW. We lived aboard for about 1.5 yrs but don't right now. Glad you enjoy the vids, hope to get some more up soon.
