@@abramwilson54 i used Murf AI, specifically Clint at -14% pitch and -12% speed. it takes some experimenting to get it right, but i’m rly happy with how it came out. for the “SUPERNOVA” line in mvt 2, i used a different guy and layered it in post with different pitches.

Hello, i was wondering if you could possible write me a score that uses piano, but put the names of the instruments that will take the piano part for a marching band show like this? I'm having some trouble coming up with a main melody and sticking with it, if you could help me out id appreciate it, and the show theme is supposed to be winter themed so like snow i guess, and i want it to be really hard like Hebron high school level I've always wanted to write a show like there's, i can't write percussion though if you could reach back to me id greatly appreciate it!!!
@bennettmercurio15 күн бұрын
@@robinsontanner37unfortunately, i really don’t have the time to do that, but i’m able to provide tips if you’d like. imo, writing all that stuff yourself is really important since it gives you the experience and helps you grow. you’re not gonna be great at first, but if you stick with it and keep challenging yourself, you’ll see improvement in no time!

@bennettmercurioАй бұрын
@@yourlocaldrumaddict alright, thanks! do you have any advice to improve my percussion writing?
@yourlocaldrumaddictАй бұрын
@@bennettmercurio It’s really hard to explain, but basically the best way to write percussion is to play the brass recording and improvise along with a practice pad or somthing. Beginner percussionists can’t do it as well because they haven’t read as much music. So with percussion you have to be familiar with lots of different styles of writing. So it really comes with experience. I don’t know how a non percussionist can improve writing, so I Geuss just find an experienced percussionist willing to help you. You can send musescore files by going to “file” and then “save as”. That should help you. Good luck!

Nice arrangement but there is a lot of dissonance between the instrument groups sometimes. Maybe you've got to adjust the volume of the support groups or take a look at the harmonics. Especially pronouced at 0:25 for example.

Since posting, I have updated this arrangement to add more breaths since I was finding it hard to do full runs. The updated version has replaced the old one on my MuseScore page. This video is slightly inaccurate, but all notes and phrases are the same. The only thing that's changed it I've added and lengthened some of the rests.
